Join us virtually for a powerful evening of community education and direct action.
APIsCAN Training: Guidance for Traveling Abroad with AOC
As new federal immigration policies continue to come down, it is critical that advocates who work with impacted communities be careful about maintaining data confidentiality and privacy, even if advocates are not planning on traveling abroad.
The training will cover potential threats to data privacy that organizations and advocates should be aware of and highlight the steps that can be taken to minimize risk. We will also discuss special considerations for traveling abroad and the current rules/trends around device searches at the border. This training will be helpful in getting advocates to consider what best practices they can incorporate into their day-to-day work to best protect their own and their community members' privacy.
