The Asian Pacific Islanders Civic Action Network (APIs CAN) of Massachusetts convened nearly 100 advocates, community leaders, and elected officials for a powerful, first annual, Advocacy Day at the Massachusetts State House, and sponsored by the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Commission. APIs CAN Releases Inaugural 2025/2026 Advocacy Agenda to Advance Immigrant, Racial, and Economic Justice Across Massachusetts

The Asian Pacific Islanders Civic Action Network (APIs CAN) of Massachusetts announced the release of its inaugural 2025/26 Advocacy Agenda, a policy platform shaped by a broad network of grassroots organizations working toward a more just and equitable Massachusetts. For the first time, APIs CAN worked to idenitfy an agenda endorsed by its coalition members, that prioritizes policies that invest in working-class communities and uphold the rights of immigrants, tenants, students, and families. APIs CAN and LUCE Immigrant Justice Network Join "Hands Off!" Protest to Defend Democracy and Marginalized Communities in Massachusetts

On Saturday, April 5, APIs CAN and the LUCE Immigrant Justice Network, joined more than 60 partner organizations and hundreds of advocates at the Hands Off! peaceful protest on Boston Common — part of a nationwide movement of rallies. APIs CAN director, Jaya Savita, shared her deeply personal story as the daughter of Indian immigrants, amplifying the voices of Asian and Pacific Islander American communities and immigrant communities. Coalition of Massachusetts and National Groups Call on President Biden for Action to Protect Impacted Communities Ahead of New Trump Administration

The Asian Pacific Islanders Civic Action Network of Massachusetts has just released a letter signed by nearly 40 organizations across the Commonwealth and U.S. demanding President Biden and his administration take necessary precautions through policy implementation to protect marginalized and impacted communities ahead of the incoming Trump Administration. The demands issued by the coalition focus on immigration justice, economic justice, Palestine, and corporate accountability:

Economic justice;
Protecting global peace;
Rein in corporate power.
